Everton’s new scholars have come through the Blues’ Academy ranks to sign on a 2 year scholar programme with the club.

Goalkeeper, George Pickford, has been included in the U18s squad for the first time as the Young Lions compete for the Tri Nations Trophy at St George’s Park.
England face Northern Ireland on Wednesday (May 22) and then Morocco on Sunday (May 26th, 2024).

Everton Academy Competitions For 2024/25
U17 and U18 Premier League Cup
In 2017, the Premier League introduced the U18 Premier League Cup and the U16 Premier League Cup, renaming the latter to the U17 Premier League Cup in 2020 for their respective age groups.
The seven group winners, along with the best runner-up determined by total points, goal difference, and then head-to-head record, will progress to the quarterfinals.
U17 Premier League Cup Group Stage
Everton U17 are drawn in Group F against under-17 teams from Blackburn, Manchester City and Fleetwood Town.

Entry into or removal from this league depends on meeting the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) accreditation criteria.

U21 Premier League Cup
The Premier League Cup was introduced in the 2013/14 season to enhance competition during the Professional Development Phase.
It added a knockout tournament alongside the regular league schedule. For the 2024/25 season, the format features nine groups.
The top team from each group automatically qualifies for the knockout stage, along with the seven best second-placed teams.
Everton are drawn in Group F against under 21 teams from Ipswich Town, Watford and Cardiff City.

Everton Academy has signed Francis Gomez from Nigerian club Sporting Supreme. The 18-year-old midfielder will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at Olympique Lyonnais.

Everton U18s have advanced to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after an impressive 7-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
The goals came from Armstrong (hat-trick), Davis, Catesby, Clarke, and Morgan.

Everton U18s have advanced to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup with a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton U18s.
George Morgan scored a brace, while Ceiran Loney added another goal to secure the win for the Toffees.

Everton’s Under-16s will take part in the Al Ain International Juniors Tournament, hosted at the Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium, the home of Al Ain FC.
They are scheduled to face FK Partizan Belgrade (Serbia), Pafos FC (Cyprus), Gremio (Brazil), Urawa Red Diamonds (Japan), and Al Ain (UAE).
