Manchester City FC runs a category 1 academy based in the North West. They have an elite youth development program that nurtures young talent.

A proud and incredible 2024/25 season for the Manchester City EDS and Academy:

Academy:

1. FA Youth Cup Finalists
2. UEFA Youth League Quarter-Finalist
3. The Under-18s established new records with 21 consecutive league victories and a total of 65 points.
4. Four players made their 1st team debut for Pep Guardiola

Elite Development Squad (EDS):

1. Premier League 2 Winners – First team to win the PL2 title for a fourth time in the competition’s history.

Academy News

Manchester City have appointed Carl Walker as their new Head of Academy Scouting and Recruitment.

He brings over six years of experience within the City Football Group, having most recently served as the club’s UK Youth Scouting and Recruitment Lead.
