Aston Villa Academy Competitions For 2024/25
U17 and U18 Premier League Cup
In 2017, the Premier League introduced the U18 Premier League Cup and the U16 Premier League Cup, renaming the latter to the U17 Premier League Cup in 2020 for their respective age groups.
The seven group winners, along with the best runner-up determined by total points, goal difference, and then head-to-head record, will progress to the quarterfinals.
U17 Premier League Cup Group Stage
Aston Villa U17 are drawn in Group D against under-17 teams from Derby County, Wolves and Leicester City.

U19 UEFA Youth League
As the leading club competition for academy-age footballers worldwide, it serves as a prestigious and vital platform where players can build their reputations and rise to prominence.
When eligible, the Under-19s compete in the UEFA Youth League, which mirrors the UEFA Champions’ League group stage.
UEFA will be introducing a new format from the 2024-25 season.
Aston Villa U19 are drawn against under-19 teams from Young Boys, Bayern, Bologna, Club Brugge, Juventus and RB Leipzig.

A convincing 6-0 victory over Accrington Stanley U18s at Boydmoor secured their spot in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup. The goals were scored by Broggio, Cotcher, Fortes, Hemmings (2), and Lynch.

Aston Villa under-19s have secured a 15th-place finish, which means their Round of 32 opponent will be one of the winners from the Domestic Champions Path play-offs.
The draw is scheduled for December 20th.

Aston Villa U18 have been crowned the 2024/25 FA Youth Cup champions after a commanding 3–1 victory at home against Manchester City U18.
The triumph is particularly remarkable as Manchester City came into the final unbeaten in their previous 26 matches.
Goals from TJ Carroll, Cole Brannigan, and Jamaldeen Jimoh sealed the memorable win.
