U18 Youth Alliance Cup
The EFL Youth Alliance Cup is a youth football tournament in England, organized by the English Football League (EFL). It features under-18 teams from League One and League Two clubs that compete in the EFL Youth Alliance, the league system for these academies.
The competition follows a format like the EFL Trophy, beginning with a regional group stage before progressing to a national knockout phase.
Designed to foster young talent at lower-tier EFL clubs, the tournament provides a structured competitive environment beyond regular league matches.
In the group stage, Bolton Wanderers are drawn in Group 1 against under-18 teams from Blackpool, Accrington Stanley, Carlisle United, Morecambe and Preston North End.

2024/25 Central League Cup Fixtures announced.
18 teams have entered the competition, divided into four groups:
Groups A and C contain five teams each, while Groups B and D each have four.
In the group stage, Bolton Wanderers Reserves will play each of the other four teams in Group C once. The teams are Accrington Stanley Reserves, Huddersfield Town Reserves, Rotherham United Reserves and Salford City Reserves.

In the 1st round of the FA Youth Cup, Bolton Wanderers have been drawn away to Rotherham United.
29th October 2024
After beating Rotherham away 6-2 in the first round, Bolton Wanderers has secured a place in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.
8th November 2024
Bolton Wanderers U18s have been drawn at home to Lincoln City in the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup. Match will take place on Monday the 25th of November at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
26th November 2024
The FA Youth Cup journey came to an end for Bolton Wanderers after a second-round loss 2 – 3 at home to Lincoln City.

Wanderers U18s have advanced to the Semi-Finals of the LFA Cup with a 4-2 victory over Preston North End at Lostock.
Goals from Corey Thomas, Latrell Lewis, Daeshon Lawrence, and Jack Mawditt secured the win.

Nelson Khumbeni has returned to Bolton following a successful half-season loan at Accrington Stanley.
During his time there, he made 24 appearances, including an FA Cup tie against Liverpool.

Bolton Wanderers under-18s came from behind to beat holders Blackburn Rovers 3 – 2 and reach the final of the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup.

Bolton Wanderers have been crowned the 2024/25 LFA Youth Cup champions after a 2-0 victory over Blackpool in the final, with goals from Harrison Rice and Daeshon Lawrence.

Bolton Wanderers B team have secured a place in the LFA Senior Cup final after scoring two second-half goals to eliminate reigning champions Barrow.
They will now take on Burnley in the final at LFA headquarters in Leyland later this month, as they look to claim their first title in the competition since 1991.
