U17 Professional Development League Cup
The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.
U17 PDL Round of 16

U18 Professional Development League Cup
Established for the 2021/22 season, the Professional Development League Cup features 32 teams divided into eight groups of four.
The group winners advance to the knockout stages.
U18 Professional Development League Cup Group Stage
The U18 are drawn in Group C against under-18 teams Doncaster Rovers, Bradford City and Hull City.

In the 1st round of the FA Youth Cup, Barnsley have been drawn away to Oldham Athletic.

Barnsley FC U21s are set to face NCEL Division One team Athersley Recreation in the second round of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.

After beating Oldham Athletic 6 – 0 in the first round, Barnsley has secured a place in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.

Barnsley U18s have been drawn at home against Carlisle United in the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup. Match will be played on Wednesday the 13th of November.

The FA Youth Cup journey came to an end for Barnsley after a first-round loss 0 – 1 at home to Carlisle United.

Barnsley have been eliminated from the Under-17s PDL Cup after a 4-1 defeat to Cambridge United in the round of 16.

Bayley McCann made his league debut for Barnsley on Saturday against Blackpool.
1st June 2025
Vimal Yoganathan helped Oldham to a memorable playoffs win to return to the EFL.
The 19-year-old midfielder started in the 3-2 win over Southend United, a match where the team came from behind twice, including once in extra time.
Since joining in January, Yoganathan has made 17 appearances for the Latics and played a key role in their earlier play-off matches.
