Brentford Academy B team and U18’s home matches take place at Wheatsheaf Park in Staines.
It served as the home ground of Staines Town from its opening in 1951 until the club disbanded in 2022.

In the 2024/25 season, the academy achieved Category Two status as the Under-9s to Under-16s age groups were reinstated at Jersey Road.

Stephen Torpey is leaving Brentford to become Manchester United’s new academy director. Since joining in 2023/24, he has played a key role in the Academy’s redevelopment, restoring Category Two status and reintroducing age groups from U9 to U16.
10th February 2026
Brentford have named David Rainford as their new Academy Director, with Rainford arriving in west London after serving as the Premier League’s Head of Education and Academy Player Care since 2020.
A former professional footballer, he featured for Colchester United and Dagenham & Redbridge, captaining the latter during their time in the EFL.
