Bromley FC Academy runs a category 4 academy based in Greater London. They focus on elite youth development to nurture young talent.
Some of the Under-18s’ home matches are played at LA Sports, Off St Dunstan’s Ln, Wickham Way, Beckenham BR3 3SS.

The Academy’s vision is to maximise the development of every player by consistently building and sustaining their commitment to both their educational and playing pathways.
Since its 2017 launch, the Bromley FC Youth Academy has grown to seven teams — boys’ sides from Under-12 to Under-16 and girls’ sides at Under-14 and Under-16 — each training twice weekly and competing in the Junior Premier League on Saturdays.
In the 2024/25 season, Bromley also introduced a BFC B Team in its debut year in the EFL, acting as a bridge between the Under-16 to Under-18 squads and the First Team.
Academy Competitions
Each season, the Academy competes across the following competitions:
- U18 Youth Alliance Cup – an EFL-organised youth tournament for Under-18 teams from League One and League Two clubs competing in the EFL Youth Alliance. It follows a format similar to the EFL Trophy, beginning with a regional group stage before progressing to a national knockout phase.
- FA Youth Cup – the traditional nationwide knockout competition open to academy sides across English football.
- U21 Premier League Cup – introduced in the 2013/14 season to add a knockout tournament alongside the regular Professional Development Phase league schedule. Group winners qualify automatically for the knockout stage, along with the best-placed runners-up.
- London Senior Cup – a regional knockout competition involving senior and academy sides from clubs across London.
- Kent Senior Cup – a county knockout competition for senior and academy sides based in Kent.
- Junior Premier League (JPL) – the Saturday league competed in by the Academy’s boys’ teams (Under-12 to Under-16) and girls’ teams (Under-14 and Under-16).
2025/26 Season
The Academy enters the 2025/26 season under Academy Manager Mark Patterson, with Jamel Wojtczak as Lead Under-18 Coach.

- Right-back Freddie Taylor signed his first professional contract with Bromley after leaving Brentford B.
September 2025
- Bromley’s B Team lined up nine Junior Premier League graduates for their Premier League Cup fixture against Sunderland Under-21s.
October 2025
- Basingstoke Town signed 19-year-old Remy Bennison on dual registration with Bromley.
- Bromley’s Under-18s progressed to the second round of the FA Youth Cup, setting up a tie against Wycombe Wanderers.
November 2025
- Bromley’s B Team was drawn away to Chatham Town in the Kent Senior Cup quarter-final.
- The Under-18s were drawn at home against Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Youth Cup third round.
December 2025
- Soul Kader and George Penn returned to Bromley following their loan spells at Hampton & Richmond.
- The Under-18s progressed to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup, setting up a tie against Ipswich Town.
- Bromley’s Under-21s’ Premier League Cup campaign ended at the group stage, and the B Team’s Kent Senior Cup run also came to a close.
January 2026
- Nathan Paul-Lavaly returned to Bromley from his loan spell at Hampton & Richmond.
- The Under-18s’ FA Youth Cup campaign came to an end in the fourth round.
- Forward Dapo Anunlopo completed a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ academy.
March 2026
- Soul Kader’s loan spell at Horsham FC was brought to an early end, having originally been due to run until the end of the season.
2024/25 Season
The 2024/25 campaign was a proud one for the Academy, with the Under-21s crowned Suburban Football League Premier Division champions and the Under-18s reaching the Youth Alliance Cup final.

October 2024
- The Academy opened applications of interest for its September 2025 intake, for both boys and girls.
- Bromley’s Under-18s began their FA Youth Cup campaign against Woking, with the tie later subject to a replay after the original fixture went unresolved under competition rules.
November 2024
- Bromley’s Under-18s were drawn at home against Rising Ballers Kensington in the FA Youth Cup second round, with the winners due to face Stoke City in the third round.
- The club also marked ten years of the Academy, celebrated by the arrival of Copia Metals and Waste as a new front-of-shirt sponsor.
- The Under-18s’ FA Youth Cup campaign ultimately came to an end in the first round, following the Woking replay.
February 2025
- Bromley narrowly missed out on qualification for the Premier League Cup knockout stage.
- The Under-18s progressed in the London Senior Cup second round.
March 2025
- Bromley’s Under-21s were crowned Suburban Football League Premier Division champions.
- The Under-18s were set to play Oxford United away in the Youth Alliance Cup.
April 2025
- Academy scholar Harry Haines earned his first spot on the Sky Bet League Two matchday squad, for the match against Newport County.
- Bromley’s Under-18s reached the EFL Youth Alliance National Cup Final against Burton Albion, played at Hayes Lane.
May 2025
- Seven young players signed new professional contracts with Bromley: Nathan Paul-Lavaly, Frankie Moralee, Josh Tobin, Soul Kader, Sam German, George Penn and George Evans.
- The Under-18s also competed in the Tropical Cup final against Granada CF at the Estadio Francisco Bonet.
