U17 Professional Development League Cup
The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.
U17 PDL Round of 16

U18 Professional Development League Cup
Established for the 2021/22 season, the Professional Development League Cup features 32 teams divided into eight groups of four.
The group winners advance to the knockout stages.

AFC Bournemouth U18 are drawn in Group A against under-18 teams Swindon Town, Portsmouth and Cardiff City.

U21 Premier League Cup
The Premier League Cup was introduced in the 2013/14 season to enhance competition during the Professional Development Phase.
It added a knockout tournament alongside the regular league schedule. For the 2024/25 season, the format features nine groups.
The top team from each group automatically qualifies for the knockout stage, along with the seven best second-placed teams.
AFC Bournemouth are drawn in Group I against under 21 teams from Brentford, Derby County and Chelsea.

AFC Bournemouth are pleased to announce the signing of Coby Small, formerly of Arsenal, who will be joining the club’s development squad and defender Teo Minchev from Chelsea, who will be joining the club’s under-18s.

In the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup, AFC Bournemouth have been drawn at home to Ipswich Town.
29th November 2024
The FA Youth Cup tie against Ipswich Town will be played at Eastleigh’s Silverlake Stadium on Wednesday 11th December.

After beating Ipswich Town at home in the third round 3 – 2, AFC Bournemouth have secured a place in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

In the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup, AFC Bournemouth have been drawn at home to Norwich City.
3rd January 2025
Bournemouth has secured the signing of 18-year-old American defender Matai Akinmboni from DC United.
The center-back, who made his Major League Soccer debut at just 15, has agreed to a long-term contract with the club.
The FA Cup fourth-round match against Norwich City is scheduled for Wednesday, January 15th, at Silverlake Stadium.

Dan Adu-Adjei and Dom Sadi have been recalled by AFC Bournemouth from their loan spells at Carlisle United.
Adu-Adjei featured in 17 matches for the Blues, scoring two goals, while Sadi made 25 appearances during his loan spell, also scoring twice.

AFC Bournemouth’s FA Youth Cup run ended in the fourth round with a 3-1 home defeat to Norwich City.
Charlie Stevens scored Bournemouth’s lone goal from the penalty spot.

AFC Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of winger Zain Silcott-Duberry.
The 19-year-old has joined the Cherries after progressing through Chelsea’s academy system, where he developed since 2017.

AFC Bournemouth have been eliminated from the Under-17s PDL Cup after a 4 – 3 defeat to Cheltenham Town in the round of 16.

Malcom Dacosta Gonzalez has signed his first professional contract with AFC Bournemouth.
The midfielder, who just turned 17 last week, played a key role for Ecuador in their recent Under-17 South American Championship campaign.

AFC Bournemouth secured 13 consecutive victories to finish at the top of the Professional Development League (PDL) Group South.

Bournemouth U21 have booked their spot in the Premier League U21 Professional Development League play-off final after a thrilling 4-3 victory over Burnley U21.
The win was secured through an early own goal by Tommy McDermott, followed by strikes from Ashley Clarke, Remy Rees-Dottin, and Daniel Adu-Adjei.

AFC Bournemouth U21 will face Brentford B in the PDL play-off final, in just their second year as a Category Two club.
The match is set to take place on Wednesday, 21st May at 7 PM at the Vitality Stadium.

AFC Bournemouth Under-21s were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Brentford B in the Professional Development League National Finals. The Cherries’ goals came from Daniel Adu-Adjei and Harold William.
