The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.

Established for the 2021/22 season, the Professional Development League Cup features 32 teams divided into eight groups of four.
The group winners advance to the knockout stages.

Brentford U18 are drawn in Group F against under-18 teams from Coventry, AFC Wimbledon and Watford.

U21 Premier League Cup
The Premier League Cup was introduced in the 2013/14 season to enhance competition during the Professional Development Phase.
It added a knockout tournament alongside the regular league schedule. For the 2024/25 season, the format features nine groups.
The top team from each group automatically qualifies for the knockout stage, along with the seven best second-placed teams.
Brentford are drawn in Group I against under 21 teams from Chelsea, Derby County and AFC Bournemouth.

Atlantic Cup
The Atlantic Cup is a football tournament that takes place in Portugal before the regular season starts.
It’s held every year, usually in January and February, and features teams from Scandinavia and other European countries.
The tournament gives teams a chance to train in warm weather and play competitive matches during their winter break.
The teams compete against each other in a round-robin or knockout format to determine the winner.
In 2025, the participants included CD Mafra, IFK Värnamo, Brøndby IF, IFK Göteborg, FC Dallas, Rosenborg BK, and Brentford B.

In the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup, Brentford have been drawn away to Norwich City.
22nd November 2024
The FA Youth Cup 3rd round match against Norwich City will be held at Carrow Road on Monday, December 9th.

Both the U17 and U18 teams have advanced to the Round of 16 in their respective PDL campaigns.

The FA Youth Cup journey came to an end for Brentford after a third-round loss 3 – 4 away at Carrow Road.

Former Brentford B players have now collectively made 500 first-team appearances for the Bees.
This milestone was reached on Wednesday night when Yehor Yarmoliuk, Mads Roerslev, and Paris Maghoma all featured in the Carabao Cup match at St James’ Park.
Over the past eight years, 31 B team players have made competitive first-team debuts.

The Brentford Under-18s have enjoyed a successful PDL Cup campaign, finishing at the top of Group F with six points from three games.
This strong performance has secured the young Bees a spot in the quarter-finals.
2nd January 2025
Defender Val Adedokun has re-joined the Bees after completing a loan spell at Diósgyőr VTK.
The full-back, who joined the Hungarian top-flight club in September, made three appearances, totalling 141 minutes on the pitch.

Tristan Crama has been recalled from his loan spell at Exeter City, where he made 26 appearances and scored four goals.

Brentford U21s triumphed over Nottingham Forest U21s in the Premier League Cup quarter-finals, winning 1 – 0 in the single leg match.

The B team will take on Barking FC in the semi-final of the London Senior Cup on Tuesday 15th April at Wheatsheaf Park.

Brentford U21 have secured their place in the London Senior Cup final after a 3-2 victory over Barking in the semi-finals, with Emeka Peters netting twice and Max Dickov converting from the penalty spot.

Brentford B have advanced to the final of the U21 Professional Development League play-off after securing a 2-1 extra-time victory away at Sheffield United.

Brentford B fell to a 3–1 defeat against QPR U21s in the Premier League Cup final, with Benjamin Arthur scoring their only goal.
The Brentford B will take on AFC Bournemouth in the PDL play-off final, scheduled for Wednesday, 21st May at 7 PM at the Vitality Stadium.

Brentford B have been crowned Professional Development League National Champions following a 3-2 victory over AFC Bournemouth U21.
Goals from Iwan Morgan, Romelle Donovan, and Tony Yogane secured the win for the young Bees.
