Lincoln City Academy Competitions For 2024/25
U18 Youth Alliance Cup
The EFL Youth Alliance Cup is a youth football tournament in England, organized by the English Football League (EFL). It features under-18 teams from League One and League Two clubs that compete in the EFL Youth Alliance, the league system for these academies.
The competition follows a format like the EFL Trophy, beginning with a regional group stage before progressing to a national knockout phase.
Designed to foster young talent at lower-tier EFL clubs, the tournament provides a structured competitive environment beyond regular league matches.
In the group stage, Lincoln City U18 are drawn in Group D against under-18 teams from Chesterfield, Burton Albion, Mansfield Town, Notts County and Rotherham.

Lincoln City will play away to Lichfield in the 1st round of the FA Youth Cup.
28th October 2024
After beating Lichfield City in the first round 5-0, the young whites secured a place in the second round of the FA Youth Cup
Lincoln City U18s have been drawn away to Bolton Wanderers in the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup. Match will take place on Monday the 25th of November at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
26th November 2024
Following a 3 – 2 win over Bolton Wanderers, in the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup, Lincoln City have been drawn at home to Wrexham.
11th December 2024
Lincoln City have earned a spot in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after defeating Wrexham 4-2 in the third round.
13th December 2024
In the fourth round round of the FA Youth Cup, Lincoln have been drawn away to Plymouth Argyle.
20th December 2024
The FA Youth Cup fourth round away to Plymouth Argyle will take place on Wednesday, January 8th at Home Park.
8th January 2025
Lincoln City’s FA Youth Cup campaign concluded with a narrow 5-4 defeat in a penalty shootout against Plymouth Argyle.
The match concluded in a 2-2 draw during regular time.
However, U14s player Jaxon Tomak made history as the youngest known scorer in FA Youth Cup history with his equalising goal against Plymouth Argyle.

A hat trick of academy scholarships for the Oliver family with Kenzie, 14 offered a pre-scholarship agreement with the Imps.
16th March 2025
Jovon Makama became the Imps first academy graduate to score a senior career hat-trick since Mick Harford in 1980.
