U17 and U18 Premier League Cup
In 2017, the Premier League introduced the U18 Premier League Cup and the U16 Premier League Cup, renaming the latter to the U17 Premier League Cup in 2020 for their respective age groups.
The seven group winners, along with the best runner-up determined by total points, goal difference, and then head-to-head record, will progress to the quarterfinals.

U21 Premier League Cup
The Premier League Cup was introduced in the 2013/14 season to enhance competition during the Professional Development Phase.
It added a knockout tournament alongside the regular league schedule. For the 2025/26 season, the format features nine groups.
The top team from each group automatically qualifies for the knockout stage, along with the seven best second-placed teams.

Norwich City academy participate in the Norfolk Hire Senior Cup
17th June 2025
Norwich City have confirmed the signing of 19-year-old goalkeeper Rylee Mitchell from Stevenage.
Mitchell has agreed to a deal running until 2028, with an option for an additional year, and will begin his time at the club with the under-21 squad.

Norwich City Academy defender Harmony Okwumo, 19, has signed a new contract with the club running until 2026, with an option for a further year.
Midfielder Hugo Valencia Gomez has signed his first professional contract with Norwich City. The 18-year-old has committed to the club until 2026, with an option for an additional year.
Academy defender Finlay Oligbo has signed his first professional contract with Norwich City, committing to the club until 2027. The 17-year-old takes the next step in his development with this new deal.
Defender Oser Okpiabhele has signed his first professional contract with Norwich City. The 17-year-old has agreed a deal that runs until 2027.
Academy defender Theo Adelusi has signed a new contract with Norwich City, extending his stay until 2028. The 18-year-old joined the Canaries last summer following his departure from Tottenham Hotspur.
Goalkeeper Henry Bullen has signed his first professional contract with Norwich City. The 18-year-old has committed to the club until 2026, with an option for a further year.

Norwich City have signed goalkeeper Luis Lines on a deal until 2027, with an option to extend. He joins the Under-21s as part of the club’s development pathway.

18-year-old forward Botan Ameen has joined Norwich City from Swindon Town. He has signed a contract running until the summer of 2028, with the option to extend for a further two years.

Norwich City have confirmed the signing of midfielder Zach Baumann from Manchester United. He joins the club’s development squad on a deal running until summer 2027, with an option for an additional year.

The 17-year-old made his senior debut for Dundalk in February 2024, becoming the club’s youngest-ever player.

The 17-year-old joined the club last summer after a stint at Fleetwood Town and has committed until 2028.
