U17 Professional Development League Cup

The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.

U17 PDL Cup Group Stage

Salford City U17 will play against Under-17 teams from Bradford City, Hull City and Oldham Athletic.

2nd July 2025

Defender Luca Jackson will link up with the B-Team for the upcoming season. The 18-year-old joins Salford City after an impressive campaign with Burnley’s Under-18s.

29th July 2025

17-year-old striker Will Wright has agreed to join Liverpool from Salford City. Following the transfer, Wright will link up with the club’s under-21 squad, which is managed by Rob Page.

21st October 2025

Salford City’s Under-17s cruised to a 3-0 win over Oldham Athletic in their final Professional Development League Cup group match, sealing a spot in the last 16.

28th October 2025

Salford City U18s’ FA Youth Cup journey came to an end with a narrow 2 – 1 defeat away to Wigan Athletic U18s.
