The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.

Seventeen-year-old Ollie Dewsbury has committed to the Club by signing his first professional contract.

Midfielder Charlie Moody has signed his first professional contract with the Club.
2nd August 2025
Kofi Shaw has completed a move to Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee. The 18-year-old midfielder joined Bristol Rovers at the age of 14.

Nine apprentices will be honoured at the EFL Awards on April 19 in London, recognising outstanding young players who have excelled on and off the pitch during the 2025/26 season, with one winner per division.
The League Two nominees are Ollie Dewsbury (Bristol Rovers), Mamadou Diallo (Cheltenham Town) and Rian Silver (MK Dons).
