The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.

U18 Youth Alliance Cup

The EFL Youth Alliance Cup is a youth football tournament in England, organized by the English Football League (EFL). It features under-18 teams from League One and League Two clubs that compete in the EFL Youth Alliance, the league system for these academies.

The competition follows a format like the EFL Trophy, beginning with a regional group stage before progressing to a national knockout phase.

Designed to foster young talent at lower-tier EFL clubs, the tournament provides a structured competitive environment beyond regular league matches.

In the group stage, Oxford United U18 are drawn in Group E against under-18 teams from Forest Green Rovers, Cheltenham Town, Swindon Town and Walsall.

New contracts have been signed by several Youth Academy graduates at Oxford United for the upcoming campaign.

Oxford United U17s extended their remarkable run to 13 games without defeat in competitive matches.

15th November 2024

In the 3rd round of the FA Youth Cup, Oxford United have been drawn away to Watford.

20th November 2024

Oxford United Academy and Oxford United in the Community have announced a partnership with the Cameron Branagan Football Academy to help bring top Oxfordshire talent into the Club.

The partnership ensures that the top young talents across the county, from both Oxford United in the Community’s Elite Development Centre and the midfielder’s academy, will have the opportunity to be observed by Oxford United Academy coaches.

23rd January 2025

Oxford United has agreed to loan defender Stephan Negru back to Salford City.

This comes just two weeks after they brought him back from his loan at Salford.

18th March 2025

Oxford United under-18s will play Bromley under-18s at home in the Youth Alliance Cup on Tuesday, April 1st.

The match will take place at the Oxford United Training Ground.
