A proud season for the AFC Wimbledon Academy:
- Under-18s finished third in their league
- Most league wins in a season: 18
- Most points in a season: 57
- Under-15s lifted the Amber Cup
In the productivity rankings released earlier this year, AFC Wimbledon ranks as the fifth most productive Category 3 academy and 38th out of 86 academies overall.
A club-record was set for Academy-generated transfer income with three players moving to Premier League academies: Justin Clarke (Everton), Charlie Wilson-Papps (Brighton), and one U12 player joining Fulham.
The EFL has released the 2024/25 youth development data, showing AFC Bournemouth’s continued commitment to nurturing young talent:
- 9.34% of first-team appearances came from Academy graduates, above the League Two average.
- 7% of total minutes were played by Academy players, exceeding the 5% Category 3 average.
- 91% of clean sheets featured two or more Academy players, compared to the league average of 43%.
