The U17 Professional Development League Cup is an English youth football tournament created for players aged 17 and under.

U18 Youth Alliance Cup
The EFL Youth Alliance Cup is a youth football tournament in England, organized by the English Football League (EFL). It features under-18 teams from League One and League Two clubs that compete in the EFL Youth Alliance, the league system for these academies.
The competition follows a format like the EFL Trophy, beginning with a regional group stage before progressing to a national knockout phase.
Designed to foster young talent at lower-tier EFL clubs, the tournament provides a structured competitive environment beyond regular league matches.
In the group stage, Burton Albion U18 are drawn in Group D against under-18 teams from Chesterfield, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Notts County and Rotherham.

Young Brewers drawn away to Port Vale in the FA Youth Cup

After beating Port Vale 4 – 0 in the first round, Burton Albion has secured a place in the second round of the FA Youth Cup.
Burton Albion U18s have been drawn at home against Notts County in the 2nd round of the FA Youth Cup. The match will take place on Saturday the 16th of November at the Pirelli Stadium.

The FA Youth Cup journey came to an end for Burton Albion after a second-round loss 1 – 2 at home to Notts County.

Burton Albion have been eliminated from the Under-17s PDL Cup after a 4 – 0 defeat to Bristol City in the round of 16.

Burton Albion U18s will face Bromley U18s in the EFL Youth Alliance National Cup Final on Tuesday, April 22 at 7pm, at Hayes Lane.
The Young Brewers booked their place with a 2-0 win over Bolton in the Area North Final, thanks to goals from Jack Newall and Jack Willow.

Burton Albion Under-18s edged past Racing Club Warwick with a 4-3 victory in the Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final.
A hat-trick from Dylan Scott and a goal from Josh Taroni secured the win for the young Brewers.

Burton Albion U18s clinched the Youth Alliance Cup with a 1-0 victory over Bromley U18s in the final held at Hayes Lane.

The young Brewers suffered defeat in the finals of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 4 – 1 loss at home to Tamworth
