Crystal Palace Academy Competitions For 2024/25
U17 and U18 Premier League Cup
In 2017, the Premier League introduced the U18 Premier League Cup and the U16 Premier League Cup, renaming the latter to the U17 Premier League Cup in 2020 for their respective age groups.
The seven group winners, along with the best runner-up determined by total points, goal difference, and then head-to-head record, will progress to the quarterfinals.
U17 Premier League Cup Group Stage
Crystal Palace U17 are drawn in Group C against under 17 teams from Brighton, Southampton and Reading.

Premier League International Cup
The participating teams are split into four groups of eight, each comprising four UK-based Under-21 teams and four invited overseas clubs represented by their development squads.
Each UK team will host all four overseas clubs in their group. The results will determine the standings in each group, with the top two teams advancing to the knockout stages.
Crystal Palace U21 will face RB Leipzig, Anderlecht, Real Sociedad and Sporting CP in the initial phase of the tournament.
Brighton, Chelsea and Southampton are the other UK-based teams in their group.

Palace youngster David Ozoh, currently on loan at Championship side Derby, is expected to be out of action for up to six weeks following a hamstring injury.
23rd October 2024
Since early 2000, the Academy has developed 43 players who have gone on to compete for the first team, with 19-year-old winger Asher Agbinone being the latest, debuting on Monday evening.

The FA Youth Cup journey came to an end for Crystal Palace U18s after a third-round 0 – 1 loss away to Manchester City who are the defending champions.
Roshaun Mathurin has re-joined Crystal Palace following the conclusion of his loan spell. The winger made 12 appearances at the Prestige Group Stadium.

Crystal Palace Under-21s have advanced to the quarter-finals of the Premier League knockout stage with a 3-1 victory over Brighton Under-21s, thanks to goals from Hindolo Mustapha, Franco Umeh and Caleb Kproha.
Crystal Palace Under-21s are set to host Chelsea Under-21s in the Premier League 2 knockout stage quarter-finals on Saturday, May 3rd.

Crystal Palace U21s advanced to the semi-finals of the Premier League 2 Play-offs with a dominant 6–0 victory over Chelsea U21.
Braces from Hindolo Mustapha and Ademola Ola-Adebomi, along with goals from Rio Cardines and Zach Marsh, sealed the emphatic win.

Crystal Palace’s Hindolo Mustapha has been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award, with the winner set to be announced next Tuesday.
Ed Thomas has received the 2025 Steve Clarke Trophy in recognition of outstanding progress at U16s level.
